My first thought was that this dress could be taken in at the side seams. However, after the initial fitting and considering other options, we decided to take it in through the princess seams. The dress needed to be reduced by about 4 inches in total—approximately two sizes.
This approach allowed us to reducethe bust size to the correct size without making the dress look too wide or unflattering.
We also needed to shorten the straps by 2 inches on each side.
As you will see on last few pictures perfect fit creates a much better look without adding costly changes such as sleeves, off-the-shoulder straps, etc
